Background

IT Without Borders was created for the purpose of connecting a passionate and skilled community of people with information communication technology skills with the needs of Christian workers and aid agencies in developing countries.

Past Projects

IT Without Borders has assisted with:

  • Setting up computer training centres in Low resource countries

  • Training rural community development workers in IT

  • Responding to break/fix requests in Asia and Africa

Calling for New Projects

IT Without Borders is now expanding its reach and is calling for applications for IT Projects which, meet our guidelines and our capacity, which can be distributed amongst its community of passionate IT volunteers.

Whilst IT Without Borders cannot guarantee that it will take on your IT Project, no project is too small or too large for IT Without Borders to consider.

If you are a Not-for-profit organisation or an individual mission worker, we welcome your IT Project Application, and will be in touch as we progress your project further.

IT Project Guidelines

  • You must be a Non-for-Profit organisation or a missionary with a registered mission angency. If in Australia please supply proof of your Australian Charities and Not for Profits registration along with your application.

  • Examples of IT Projects which may be suitable are:

    • Setting up websites for overseas aid groups

    • Exploring how to equip a computer training centre in a low income area

    • Exploring options to increase IT security

Priority will be given to projects that focus on information.
