Based in Melbourne, Australia,  iTwob is a non-profit, non-denominational organisation aiming to break down the information technology barriers increasingly reported by aid workers. By providing free, professional IT support, iTwob will enable these workers to continue their vital role in the developing world.

Launched with two generous corporate grants, iTwob aims to assemble a network of 500+ skilled volunteers with IT expertise to staff a help desk providing remote technical support to aid workers. iTwob plans to facilitate opportunities for suitable IT workers to participate in short-term field trips to deliver IT infrastructure and provide face-to-face training. In partnership with aid and development projects and workers, iTwob also plans to implement computer literacy and training programs to assist with community development and income-generation potential.
